WHY DO I WRITE?
I write from a place of discovery, of finding out about myself and the world through the lens of the creative word, letting my subconscious mind and the infinite mind of the cosmos show me how it is. I have a very serious side and a very playful side, and I see these go to war and make love in my writing. My main aim in writing is the writing itself; just letting the light shine in the mirror of the divine river, enjoying the splash of colours, the rippling waves. Beyond this, I hope to let others enjoy the beauty, truth and goodness – to name a few virtues – of this blessed existence we share. Finally, I do hope that in my own small way, by clarifying consciousness and inviting reflection on significant ideas, patterns and phenomena, that I may play a part in the triumph of love over evil, truth over insanity, warm light over cold darkness.
FORTHCOMING!
We're all busy; and some more than others. I've got A LOT of ideas for novels, novellas, short stories and nonfiction books. These acorns are suspended in freefall, from the lofty heights of the oak branch that birthed them, but in slow-mo they move indefinitely toward the earth that will ground them like true love, be the womb for their seed to sprout forth in actualised written form, as a newborn book. A veritable garden of books will soon be blooming, when the seasons of life allow. For now, I'm working on them slowly, but a trickle has been known to flood.
