Homeschoolers

I help kids and teens on the homeschooling path with the discovery and development of their innate potential. We activate and cultivate knowledge, skill and character through spontaneous and friendly discussions, focused and supportive training exercises, BEING IN THE NOW, and simply nurturing genuine trust and respect between myself and the learner. I love to learn and this is my main lesson.

English as a Foreign Language

I am a CELTA-trained English teacher with over a decade of experience teaching all ages and walks of life. My classes can be one-to-one or you can study together with your friends – and split the class fee! Classes can also be online or in-person at my home in Howth. My favourite format is to cultivate general fluency via fun and personally-relevant conversations, but I am at your service and can help with grammar, reading and writing, confidence-building, exam preparation, job interviews and CVs, or anything else requiring English.

School visits for a day or a week

Are you a primary or secondary school looking for ways to get your students motivated, engaged and growing into their fuller potential? I run workshops for students of all ages, where we cultivate a joy and love for learning, while empowering the kids directly with knowledge, skills and mindset which they can take home and begin applying that day. The secret ingredient is FUN and a casual, authentic and relaxed atmosphere. The content can be tailored to suit your needs, but my favourite format is mindfulness, music and creative writing – a happy trio that brings out the deep emotion, the inner genius, and the laughter!

• You get me for the day, up to 5 hours, which can be split up as you please; 3 x 90 mins, 4 x 60 mins, etc.
• No prior experience required – not even a love of schooling! Any and all of your pupils can participate.
• The workshop fee is €500 a day or €2,000 for 5 days, which is a 20% discount for the week-long option.

I was born and raised in Perth, Western Australia, third son of Irish parents who fostered a love of books, music and life. As a young man I travelled a lot – geographically and intellectually – and came to fall deeply in love with my homeland, eventually making the move and returning full circle to the isle of my ancestors – and now my descendants. I'm blessed with a wise wife and three beautiful young children – my teachers. I'm a freethinking, truthseeking, freedom-fighting soul on a mission to awaken the best in myself and others, through giving my natural gifts – because the world needs us to, and because there's no better adventure.
